Mercato Metropolitano and Community Southwark have partnered to bring you the Volunteering Fair on 1st March. More than 30 local organisations will be welcoming you between 12 and 3 pm at Mercato Metropolitano Elephant & Castle to share about their live volunteering opportunities in several fields, including:
- Finance
- Administration
- Leadership roles
- Children and young people
- Elderly people.

About Community Southwark
Community Southwark is the umbrella body for the voluntary and community sector in Southwark. They support charities and community groups with advice, training, and volunteer and connect organisations to each other, funders, and decision makers to make change, together. Community Southwark runs a volunteer advice service giving free, personalised advice on volunteering for individuals and corporates. Accessibility and Facilities
Mercato Metropolitano is fully wheelchair accessible with ramp access and is pet-friendly. The venue is both indoor and outdoor, with gender-neutral toilets. There are several food shacks and bars, meaning alcohol may be consumed within the event premises. Supervised children are welcome too.
