Dapper dames and jaunty gents should jump on their tandems and hot-pedal it down to Paper Dress Boutique, for Shoreditch's latest cool kid party. The vintage vendors at the clothes-shop-turned-after-hours-cocktail-club have teamed up with Vintage Rascal to create the 'Hoxton Hipster Hot Rod Convention', a night of bicycle chat, vintage banter, fashion, cocktails and music, which kicks off with the brand's launch night, on Thursday 15th August from 6pm.
Vintage Rascal is a new hot rod bike brand that peddles (see what we did there?) some of the hippest two-wheels in town, along with some rather dapper accessories to match. So it's rather fitting that their launch night, the first in a series of events, will bring together cycling and style. Music at this cool Shoreditch party will be brought to you by funky rockers, Listening Party who are taking a break from the festival circuit, plus sets from indie-folkster, Bright Smoke and singer-songwriter, James Ewers. A white hot DJ set for afters, will be amped up with Alexi Rosko and Ally Wolf on the decks.
Set to be a cool and quirky event in East London, Vintage Rascal will be showcasing their wares, and are encouraging punters to dress up in their finest pedal-pushing threads and bring along their bikes for a bit of cycle show-off outside the Shoreditch bar.
A room full of dressed-up and dandy, cocktail-quaffing, bicycling hipsters; where do we sign up?
