The idea of sitting down to dinner with a group of strangers can fill some of us Brits with dread. But allow yourself to dismiss this idea as too awkward and you'll rob yourself of the chance to enjoy one of London's finest pop-up experiences. Jimmy's Underground Pop-Up Restaurant is back, and determined to re-create its infectious dining environment filled with great food, delicious wine and even better company.
There's room for only 25 visitors at this restaurant below DVine Wine in Clapham, which creates an intimate vibe that doesn't fail to charm. There's exceptional food and drink to sample too; drop by on a Thursday for Burgers and Bordeaux Night, where you'll enjoy a starter, wholesome duck or lobster burger, dessert and half a bottle of Bordeaux for just £30. The menu is frequently updated for Friday and Saturdays sessions, and Sunday Lunch is served every third weekend too.
A refreshing pop-up experience that proved a huge hit with Londoners last year, we're expecting more of the same this time around.
Jimmy's Underground Pop Up Restaurant runs Thursdays to Sundays from 8th May, for a period of three months. The event is held at DVine Cellars, 74 Landor Road, SW9 9PH.
