London is blessed with an extensive collection of pop-up bars and restaurants, arriving in our fair city to deliver a fleeting dose of something delicious. If London's pop-up scene wasn't fast paced enough, The Flavour Expats are getting ready to turn the whole thing up to eleven with a series of Clapton-based cook-offs.
Orchestrated by Italian Supperclub Backdoor Kitchen and taking place at Palm 2, The Flavour Expats will see the likes of Two Hungry Girls, Darjeeling Express, Yummy Choo Eats, The Pickled Fork and Gastronhome battle it out over the next two months in pursuit of the ever-coveted culinary pop-up crown.
Cook-offs will set a culinary challenge around an international theme, as countries from across the globe are pitted against one another to discover whose cuisine is, quite literally, eaten up by the public. Across seven nights throughout March and April, chefs are required to cook and serve a starter, main and dessert, influenced by the most distinctive flavours from their respective countries. Sounds pretty damn delicious.
Battles are taking place over seven nights, between 1st March and 15th April 2014. Tickets for each event are priced at £35.
