The folks at Platterform have upped sticks and moved over to The Hothouse in Hackney to commence a string of vibrant pop-ups. It all kicks off on 28th November with Skylodge, a temporary winter event serving innovative cocktails alongside an array of tasty festive treats, against the backdrop of a lumberjack theme. Skylodge will provide a cosy and intimate shelter from the cold, with The Hothouse coming equipped with heated booths, inviting sofas and a roaring fireplace in true lumberjack-inspired fashion. Once guests have got themselves settled they will dine on seasonal dishes like smokey maple baby-back ribs and big-foot roast beef, with warming festive-inspired cocktails helping to wash it all down.
Skylodge is the first in a series of pop-ups for Platterform at the Hackney-based venue.
After dinner guests will be treated to a diverse entertainment package, featuring live acoustic performance from the very brightest local up and coming talent as well as experimental film nights and the opportunity to take part in London's first (very unofficial) Lumberjack Olympic Games. Platterform's Skylodge pop-up has been constructed with the intention of developing a strong understanding with the local community and offering a vibrant and entertaining all round evening out whilst they're at it.
The Skylodge Pop-Up (274 Richmond Road, London Fields, London, E8 3QW) gets underway on Thursday 28th November 2013, with tickets priced at £20.
