Kopparberg are creating a quite frankly awesome pop-up experience in Dalston this summer. Their Urban Forest residency will bring a headline-grabbing line up of bands, street artists, exquisite food and delicious drinks together at the Bootstrap Company, to create a unique atmosphere for summer socialising.
Their inspiration comes from the Swedish pine forest that sits above the brewery in the small town of Kopparberg. Such is the beauty and charm of this place that they simply had to bring Londoners attention to it, and boy are we sitting up and taking notice.
Scandinavian acts like Francobollo, MØ and Karin Park will deliver special performances alongside heralded British acts like New Young Pony Club and Lucy Rose. Guests will take all this live music in while chowing down on tasty fare produced by three of East London’s top street vendors, and a spread of Kopparberg’s premium fruit ciders, scarcely-seen brewery beers and innovative cocktails will keep thirst at bay throughout. If all that wasn’t enough, there’s also graffiti from local street artists to marvel at while you’re there.
The Kopparberg Urban Forest pop-up runs from Wednesday 2nd July to Sunday 3rd August at The Bootstrap Company, Dalston, E8 3DL. It’s free to get in but is for over-18’s only. £1 from each sale of the ‘Dalston Thing’ cocktail will be donated to the Dalston Bridge Charity.
