We all know that Monday morning feeling - when a weekend of excess catches up with you and all sense of responsibility goes out of the window. Well, what if we told you that to be found amongst the booze fuelled streets of London is an alcohol free oasis of calm without any compromise on fun? Well, such a place does exist and is proving to be quite the success with London revellers.
Redemption is the forerunner of the latest trend to hit the fast paced streets of London - the alcohol free bar. Not at all preachy and still insistent on fun, Redemption is a bold move from owner and founder Catherine Salway who hopes to give London's partygoers a night out without the might-as-well-be obligatory day off afterwards. Salway hopes to promote the 'Pure Party', a fun party atmosphere without the temptation to overindulge that has become so common in recent times.
Redemption plays host to popular DJs playing laid back tunes, as well as Head Chef and Nutritional Therapist Jayne Tatty, on hand to serve up a delightful array of healthy vegetarian dishes. Also on offer is a delightfully tasty selection of 'Mocktails', such as the Coconut & Berry Infused Martini, or the Mint & Lime Mock-jito, all designed to give you the sweet tasting satisfaction of an alcoholic drink but, wait for it, without the alcohol.
Already tried and tested upon a rooftop of Hackney's Netil House for ten Sundays this summer, Redemption takes up permanent residency at Goldfinger Factory, an upcycling production centre and social enterprise close to Westbourne Park Tube.
Redemption is open Wednesday to Friday, 4pm-10pm, Saturday 11am-10pm and Sunday 11am-5pm. Redemption is closed on Monday and Tuesday. Entry is free, and is now open at Goldfinger Factory, Trellick House, 13-15 Golbourne Road, W10 5UU for the foreseeable future.
