It's all getting pretty damn festive over in London's West End. Never one's to miss out on a seasonal novelty, W Lounge Bar invite you over for Rock and Roll Afternoon Tea - they've put together a menu inspired by festive rock and roll singles of Christmases past, putting a yuletide twist on the traditional Afternoon Tea.
First up, they've transformed the bar to reflect the festive cheer: look forward to a menu of exclusive Christmas tipples, including The Fairy Tale of New York, a blend of raisin-infused BLOOM gin, with Chataigne liqueur, Grand Marnier, lemon juice and egg white. Alternatively, go for the Let it SnoW!, a rich combination of Johnny Walker Black, Mozart chocolate liqueur, sweet vermouth, and mandarin juice, topped with fresh chilli, and garnished with red currants. Otherwise, try out the Santa (Teresa) Baby, made with Santa Teresa rum, Mozart chocolate liqueur, Chambord, cranberry juice and raspberry puree.
As far as the food goes, guests can look forward to a whole host of angelic indulgences, including All I Want For Christmas is Choux, a cream-filled choux pastry, Rocking Around The Christmas Tree, a selection of red velvet and vanilla butter-cream cupcakes shaped as Christmas trees and Jingle Bell Rock, a rocky road cake topped with fluffy marshmallow and a sugar candy cane. These cakes are accompanied by a selection of sandwiches, including turkey and cranberry, traditional roast beef, spicy butternut squash and luxurious smoked salmon.
The W Christmas Rock Tea will be served between 2pm-5pm daily, from 29th - 24th December 2013, for £25 per person or £35 with a Christmas cocktail.
