Run by The Bloody Oyster team, who aim to bring back the humble oyster along with the perfect Bloody Mary, comes their latest pop up event. Shucking and Shaking heads to Farringdon pub The Hat and Turn, where guests will find unusual shakes and shucks of Britain’s finest pick-me-ups.
After their first sell-out event down in Battersea, the team are back to further dispel the rumour that oysters a purely an elitist delicacy, aiming to restore them to their modest origins. Alongside this, will be a range of Bloody Mary's on offer, in which they'll equally aim to show how they're not solely a hangover cure.
This event will also showcase the unveiling of their latest concoction 'The Bloody Dragon', an Asian inspired Bloody Mary that is suitable for vegetarians and includes such ingredients as garam masala and Thai basil.
For £17, your ticket includes a Po'Boy (their take on the New Orleans classic deep fried oysters in a toasted brioche bun), 3 of their signature oysters (in the half shell), a Bloody Mary of your choice, and a House wine or Stout, courtesy of The Hat and Tun. Happening on Wednesday 2nd April, it will run from 18:30 to 21:30.
