Combining the capital's three most recent fetishes - beer, pop ups and nifty collaborations - Urban Sessions and Beer Nation have pitched their talents together to create a four month fun and beer-filled residency at Cre8 Centre in Hackney Wick. Opening on July 11th and running right through until the end of October, this transformed old public baths with be graced by the presence of some of the world's best beers, cocktails and cider.
Throughout the 17 weeks, expect to see a jam-packed schedule of 10 bars with over 500 types of drinks including beers, ciders and cocktails, top bands and DJs, mouth-watering food trucks, education tasting tours, meet the brewer events and beer supper clubs.
Split into three sections, the Urban Sessions area will be host to 8 bars doling out some of the nation's finest brews as well as some other awesome beers never seen before on the shores of Old Blighty. There'll also be amazing cocktails from the Ginstock champions at Powder Keg Diplomacy and an abundance of great ciders.
Big name sommALEier Melissa Cole with be heading up the Beer Nation area which will run tutored tasting sessions, meet the brewer events and monthly beer supper clubs. In the outside bar, an great line-up of DJs and bands will provide the soundtrack to cider shacks and awesome food from Northfield Farm and the Ribman. They're even running a fundraiser to help keep the once-dilapidated 1930s art deco building a community asset adding an extra ethical incentive to this beery blowout!
