The beloved duo, Wallace and Gromit, are heading to London for an exciting new adventure.
Wallace And Gromit-Inspired Restaurant In London
Wallace And Gromit - AKA the UK's claymated national treasures - are heading on yet another quirky adventure that includes a large floating boat, delicious roast dinners and gravy cocktails. Intrigued yet? Unfortunately this isn't the premise of a new Wallace and Gromit movie, although we wish it was. The Aardman duo are collaborating with household gravy brand, Bisto, to bring London's first floating gravy boat to the capital for two days only.
Inspired by the final chase scene in the latest, award-winning film 'Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl', the pop-up restaurant will be anchored at Paddington, where guests can come down for an 'eat, meet and greet' experience costing just £15 per person.
What Does The Experience Include?
Although you might prefer to pour it on your roast, this quirky restaurant experience starts off with a gravy cocktail - did Wallace invent this? - followed by a set menu of Bisto-fueled bites, including a hearty roast with all the trimmings. Thought you'd had enough of the brown stuff? Think again, as the restaurant also promises to serve up a sweet treat doused in Bisto gravy sauce for dessert - "someone's been at me gravy, Gromit".
Want to know the best bit? You'll even get to meet the dynamic duo themselves, alongside Feathers McGraw (approach the chicken with caution). There will also be a replica of the blue diamond from the film, so be sure to keep it out of the wrong hands.
Despite the floating gravy boat being the quirkiest part of this iconic collaboration, that's not all. Shoppers heading out to buy some Bisto could be in with a chance of winning a £1,500 blue diamond inside special packs, so keep your eyes peeled.
When Is The Wallace And Gromit-Themed Restaurant Opening?
You can head down to the Paddington gravy boat on February 19th and 20th. Book a ticket for a 12pm, 3pm or 6pm sitting.
