WHO ARE THEY?

Philip Simon: Shall I Compere Thee in a Funny Way?

His crowd-work videos have gone viral on social media, so now Philip Simon has taken his laziness to a whole new level by structuring an entire show with nothing prepared! Join one of the UK's leading circuit MCs and award-winning comedians for a hilarious mix of jokes and audience chat. A regular face at UK comedy clubs as well as appearing on TV and radio, Philip has also spent a great deal of time performing on cruise ships around the world. He was runner up in the UK Pun Championships 2020, and has written material for shows including Mock the Week & NewsJack.

Fiona Allen: On The Run

Twice Emmy winning actor and comedian Fiona Allen has been a mainstay of our TV screens over the past two decades. She has starred in various sketch shows, most famously the iconic "Smack the Pony". Fiona has also appeared in television dramas such as "Dalziel and Pascoe", "Shameless", "Coronation Street" and "Happiness" alongside Paul Whitehouse. On film, Fiona played Sandra in the film version of the famous Viz comic strip "Fat Slags", and Smirgut the Fierce in "Gladiatress". Most recently she has been in that little-known soap "Eastenders"... Fiona won a whole new generation of fans in the second series of the hit E4 teenage drama "Skins", playing Maxxie's mum, Jackie Oliver her on-screen hubby was Bill Bailey. She has also played the role of Georgia Stevenson in the BBC drama "Waterloo Road", while often appearing as herself on comedy shows like "Mock the Week" and "8 Out Of 10 Cats".

Rachel Creeger: Ultimate Jewish Mother

Whether it’s a relationship problem, how to word a sensitive work email or the best way to cook a brisket, this Jewish mother has all the answers you'll need. Award-winning comedian Rachel Creeger presents her brand-new interactive comedy show. Want to know anything about anything? Just ask your Jewish mother already! Rachel Creeger is a multi-award-winning stand-up comedian, writer, director and broadcaster, and the only orthodox Jew on the UK comedy circuit. As seen on BBC1, NextUp Comedy and Amazon Prime, and heard on BBC Radio London, BBC R4, BBC R2 and BBC R5Live, she co-hosts both internationally renowned chat show podcast "Jew Talkin' To Me?", and Neighbours super-fan podcast “Leaving Erinsborough”.

Alexis Dubus: 3-Star Show

After 20 years on the circuit, Alexis Dubus, one of the comedians of his generation, is ready to deliver the greatest 3-star comedy experience ever staged. Don't miss this explosively average show from a multi award-nominated performer truly at the middle of his game. It's an experience you'll be talking about for minutes to come. As seen as a waiter in Derek Channel 4, an idiot in Nathan Barley Channel 4 and 3 of 63 in Red Dwarf XI Dave.

Nominated: Best International Show - New Zealand Comedy Festival
Nominated: Malcolm Hardee Award for Comic Originality

Louise Atkinson: Mates

You can never complete a night out with your friends unless someone has cried over their ex, you've all made a new best friend in the toilets that you'll never see again, and you've done three laps of the bar looking for Lisa. Seriously though, where is she? Our friends are our chosen family. From the happiest times to breaking up with friends, grab a pint of wine and Louise will recount some of her funniest memories. Hopefully we find Lisa. From the cultural delights of Hull comes Louise Atkinson, a stand-up comedian with a unique perspective of seeing the world through a gravy-stained lens.
