What they say:
Smokehouse is the latest venture from Neil Rankin, former Chef of Pitt Cue Co. The gastropub has a focus on great expertly sourced fish and meat; alongside European beer, fine wine and a 20-strong on-tap craft beer offering. Islington seems to be a Mecca for great gastropubs in London, and Smokehouse is a welcome and worthy addition to the roster.
What we say:
Smokehouse has something for absolutely every version of pub lover in London - a great beer garden, farm-sourced beef, 20 on-tap craft beers, and all in one of London's most beautifully tranquil areas. The team in the cockpit of this multi-tasking gem, has a joint CV that includes The Princess of Shoreditch, Pitt Cue and Co, The Pig and Butcher and Lady Ottoline - this only equates to one amazing product. Make sure you visit Smokehouse while it's hot!
