Located on the historic Colombia Road, within stone's throw of the flower market, Birdcage couldn't be a better setting for a rejuvenated drinking lounge.
Intent on salvaging the pub to its former glory, the aim is to restore the building to its historic majesty with bags of character thrown in. Respectful of the site's Victorian features, we've spruced up the wooden bar, mouldings, columns and banquettes.
This place knows its beer, and there's an excellent selection of European and local craft beers on offer. For anyone wanting to try something a little bit jazzier, we have cocktails and wines, and a changing Special cocktail lists for the season! Proper pub grub with lots of options for snacking or grazing or a full blown meal and roasts on sundays!
