Just a short walk from Greenwich Park and the Royal Observatory, The Princess of Wales is a popular local pub in Blackheath.
The perfect balance of traditional and contemporary interiors, the bar is bursting with character and charm.
Walk through the airy conservatory room and you’ll be treated to a spacious beer garden with plenty of seating, sheltered areas, and even a BBQ area for alfresco cooking in the summer months.
Behind the bar, you’ll find a great range of craft beers, wines, and artisan spirits, while the food menu offers classic British dishes. There’s something for everyone.
Rugby fans – in 1871, the pub was used as the changing rooms for the first-ever international match between England and Wales.
Sunday are perfect for a lazy afternoon while you enjoy one of their famous roasts, and in the evening you can come and relax and listen to their live jazz band.
Monday nights come and win a prize at their pub quiz.
