1 review - Pub
Description
After undergoing extensive refurbishments, The White Hart in Whitechapel and has since reopened as a micro-brewery pub. Offering a selection of home-brewed seasonal ales and lagers, that are brewed in the basement, a wine list has also been perfectly crafted to accompany their menu.
A traditional setting with a modern outlook, it has quite the historic importance in relation to the Jack The Ripper murders in the 1890s. The pub's basement was home to one of the suspects George Chapman, while one of the victims is said to have drunk here with her murderer before being killed in an alleyway behind the pub.
Serving a menu of amazingly fresh food that is hearty as well as beautifully cooked, The White Hart offers quality dining alongside their drinks. Great for a Sunday stop-off as well as an after work haven, this is well worth a trip.
