The Oak

The Oak is a local community pub located on Widmore Road between Bromley and Bickley. Open daily serving homemade food, great beers, cocktails, wines and spirits.

A cosy garden at the back of the pub is their best-kept secret and welcoming to both children and dogs.

Let’s face it, the only thing better on Sundays than a roast is one you don’t have to cook yourself and at The Oak, it's done properly. 

Can’t choose between supreme of chicken, or sirloin of beef? Then don’t, have the mixed! Not a meat eater? No problem, there’s a vegan option available.

Whatever you choose it comes with crispy garlic and thyme roast potatoes, maple glazed roasted parsnips and carrots, braised red cabbage, curly kale, gravy, and a Yorkshire pudding almost big enough to wear as a hat (head size dependent). Expect a proper home-cooked style portion and yes, of course cauliflower cheese is available, Sundays are done properly…
