The Grove House Tavern has recently been taken over by the South London Independent pub operators Parched. The same team behind the much loved Montpelier and White Horse Pubs in nearby Peckham have undertaken the refurbishment of the beautiful Victorian pub back to its former glory.

Just tucked away on the gorgeous Georgian tree-lined street of Camberwell Grove, right in the heart of Camberwell; a friendly local boozer serving excellent cask, craft beers, and delicious old-world wines.

There is plenty of space inside for any occasion, from a quiet weekday lunch, Saturday night drinks, or a big birthday party. We have a function room available for private parties throughout the year. 

The Grove House Tavern prides itself on an exciting food offering, with a delicious rotating menu of sandwiches, burgers, and sharing plates from local operators Mondo Sando.

    Mondo Sando cut their teeth slinging subs to those in the know in SE5 – now they’re here full-time with an ever-changing menu of intense flavours and bold fillings. Globally-sourced solutions to your lunchtime problems! Mondo Sando are open every Monday to Friday from 12 pm to 3 pm for lunch and 6 pm to 9 pm for dinner. On Saturday the kitchen is open from 1 pm to 9 pm. Pining for roasties? Gravy? Sticky Toffee Pudding? Pine no more – MONDO ARROSTO’s legendary roasts are back in business! The kitchen is open on Sundays from 1 pm to 5 pm. For groups of more than 15 guests, we also have a Feasting Roast option, see the menus below. Menus are subject to change due to seasonality and product availability.
