Let us introduce your new favourite comedian and our tip for the Next Big Thing in comedy: it's Laura Lexx. There are few acts in the world more honest, charming, hilarious and heart-breaking. She's a grandmaster of crowd work, whilst also having a sharp eye for detail and big, open heart that has endeared her to audiences from the moment she hits the stage.
Laura is an award-winning performer and writer who recently hit the big time when she appeared on Live At The Apollo. She has also popped up on TV screens and radios on BBC At The Edinburgh Festivals and The Jason Manford Show on Absolute Radio.
Following a critically-acclaimed run of her show Trying, Laura won Best Performer in the Comedian’s Choice Awards and was in the top 10 of Dave’s Funniest Joke of the Fringe at the 2018 Edinburgh Fringe. She also won Best MC in the 2017 Comic’s Comic Awards and was nominated as Best Compere in the 2016, 2017 & 2018 Chortle Comedy Awards. She also reached the finals of the Amused Moose Comedy Award in 2016 & 2018. Laura has gigged at comedy clubs and festivals all over the UK and in Europe as well as providing tour support for Jason Manford, Tim Vine and Russell Kane.

Twayna Mayne’s distinctive downbeat style paired with her deliciously honest material has taken her to the finals of numerous competitions including the prestigious New Act of the Year & Up the Creek’s One to Watch. In 2016, she became a Leicester Mercury Nominee and starred in the prestigious AAA show at the Edinburgh Fringe. Her highly anticipated debut show Black Girl achieved excellent critical acclaim at the Edinburgh Fringe 2017. Her extraordinary back story paired with her unique pop culture filtered execution singled her out as a newcomer to watch.

BRODI SNOOK
Hailing from the small Western Australian town of Busselton, Brodi Snook made her mark on the international stage reaching the final of the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Going from strength to strength she has been a two time RAW Comedy state finalist (WA), and Fosters Golden Jesters finalist.
Brodi was also a writer on the sixth and final series of Aussie late night talk show Live on Bowen. In 2017, Brodi has had successful runs of her solo show, Babe, in both hemispheres, performing at Perth Fringeworld and Brighton Fringe. She also completed a tour of Switzerland performing in Geneva, Basel and Zurich. Now based in the UK, Brodi has appeared on Talk Radio and BBC4 Extra and is quickly becoming a favourite on the UK comedy circuit, having already played the 99 Club, Top Secret, and Glee, to name a few.
