Fresh from an extensive refurb, The City Barge cuts the mustard as a sleek riverside hangout which manages to retain its historic charm. Dating back to the 14th century and decorated with a sprinkling of vintage furnishings, this is a relaxed place in which to kick back and enjoy some fantastic food and drink. The venue is made up of a stunning dining room, relaxed bar area and extensive outdoor space perfect for alfresco drinking. The food is heavy on traditional British seafood, and the drinks cabinet is made up of craft beers, ales, ciders and over 50 wines.

This is a stylish, atmospheric place in which to eat, drink and have a ruddy good time. The venue's idyllic setting is perfect for after-work refreshment and the swish dining room would suit all manner of private functions. Already a firm favourite with locals, The City Barge is back and looking better than ever.
