The guys behind The Italian Job have taken to the former Pickwick’s site to introduce London to Italy’s craft beer landscape. They’ll feature a rotating choice of 12 beers, with taps drawn from their brewery in Emilia Romagna and other trusted producers. There will be plenty of wines and spirits too, and a range of hamburgers, Italian street food and cheese boards for those fancying a nibble.
What we say:
For far too long traditional Italian wines and delicacies have hogged the spotlight. Those guys at Birrificio Del Ducato have made it their job to showcase the emerging Italian craft beer scene, and opening a flagship pub in the heart of Chiswick is a great place to start. With two Italian chefs in the kitchen, an authentic mouthful of street food should be a safe bet too.
