Counting House

Description

A short distance from Bank station, Counting House is a traditional British pub in the City of London. Formerly known as a banking hall in 1893, the aptly named boozer oozes 19th-century decadence. With gleaming chandeliers and a high domed ceiling, it's a stunning stop-off for a pint of real ale. Sports fan? You can also catch all the action on first-class HD screens.

If you've worked up quite the appetite, you can expect a menu filled with best-loved British plates. From fish 'n' chips to pie tasting boards and signature boar scotch eggs, there are plenty of dishes to choose between. On the drinks front, this hotspot also has a lip-smacking range of craft ales or wine up for grabs.
