Description
Pacific Tavern is a newly opened pub nestled between Canada Water and Surrey Quays. Taking inspiration from the Pacific Coastline, the menu pays homage to the rich cultures, cooking methods and flavours used across the Pacific Rim.
Boasting two outdoor dining spaces, the covered terrace offers year-round, all-weather dining and the outside uncovered space offers proximity to a summer bar and live music stage. Inside the tavern, you’ll find a well-stocked bar, fireplace, and cosy interiors, perfect for working lunches, date nights or group dining.
The menu will transport you to all corners of the Pacific. Seabream crudo takes inspiration from raw fish cooking methods of the Pacific Islands. Grilled chicken with miso and mile rojo will take you to the coast of Mexico. Dig into the Kiwi pie of the day and you’ll swear you’re breathing in the fresh air of Aotearoa (New Zealand). Sip on a pint of Stone & Wood Pacific Ale and you’re transported to Byron Bay, Australia.
Pacific Tavern have recently started serving breakfast, with unmissable dishes featuring a Kiwi classic bacon and egg pie, sweet corn esquites and a Pacific twist on a big breakfast with plantain and a fresh salsa.
The drink offering is also worth writing home about. Pacific ales, lager, wines, tropical twists on your favourite cocktails, fresh juice and Caravan coffee are available all day. Notable cocktails include the Banana Old Fashioned for a fruity twist on a classic, Ho-Chi Picante if a spicy tipple is your thing or the pretty-in-pink Hibiscus Margarita.
With weekly live music sessions, an extensive drinks list and an incredible menu, there’s no reason not to take the 10-minute walk from Canada Water Station to this pub paradise.
Pacific Tavern is available for private hire with multiple venue hire offerings and bespoke event packages, from birthday parties and celebrations to workshops and corporate events.
