Description
The Betsey Trotwood definitely isn't your typical pub. A Victorian setting amalgamated with an eclectic range of cultural happenings make it quite the distinct venue.
Divided into three floors you'll find the bar area on the ground floor, an underground atmospheric cellar gig venue and on the upper level, an elegant bar and acoustic room. Offering a wide array of drinks, they have a detailed selection of beer and ale both regular and seasonal, a varied mix of wines and an impressive range of whiskies to choose from.
Food is also on offer here, and is traditional and homely British pub food from cottage pies, fish and chips and burgers, whilst also serving a range of vegetarian dishes and lighter options as well. Entertainment is regular and varied, including live music, poetry, drama performances, comedy nights and even the facility to hire your own space. There's truly something for everyone here at this eclectic and versatile venue.
