The team that have brought the people of East London such quirky gems as The Book Club and Queen of Hoxton have added to their popular portfolio with Stories - coming to you on Broadway Market. Stories will combine good old London daytime brunching, delicious cocktails with a programme of special events and contemporary art. The new site promises to satisfy the drinking and gastronomic needs of East London's most discerning foodies, from early to late at night. The food will be locally sourced, where possible, and served in a relaxed and calm setting. The decor will be adorned with artwork from up and coming and freelance artists - giving the place an extremely original and unique aesthetic.
What we say:
Given all of the reports of endless pubs closing in London (East London seems to be hit the hardest) it is an absolutely glorious site to see a new venue opening. And what a time too. Stories, on Broadway Market, will offer fire from two barrels. It will offer an authentic East London pub experience - complete with lovely comfort food, all day eating, brunches and a great selection of beer; but there will also be a unique contemporary arts programme showcasing an array of artists from across London.
