The Pembury Tavern

The Pembury Tavern is a historic pub in Hackney operated by The Five Points Brewing Company, a local independent brewery that has been making beer in the borough for over ten years.

In addition to wonderfully-kept beer with plenty of craft options across cask and keg, The Pembury is also home to ACE Pizza and their award-winning New York inspired Neapolitan pizzas.

A welcome respite to the hustle and bustle of Hackney, particularly right at one of the city's busiest junctions (which The Five Points takes their name from), The Pembury is a fantastic place for after work drinks with mates, cosy casual dates or an enjoyable solo drink alongside some inventive pizzas from the ACE menu. Dogs are more than welcome, and younger pub goers can enjoy The Kids' Table on Sundays from 12-4pm for crafting and playtime experiences for kids between 3 and 10 years old. 

The spacious layout of The Pembury Tavern makes this East London pub a suitable place for larger bookings and private hire options. If you have a large group of 30 people or more, you can book either of the pub's wings, which can be curtained off from the main pub. They also welcome table bookings for a fun night with friends or an easy afternoon of great beer and pizza with family. 

The Pembury is known for exciting events highlighting the independent craft beer scene, with previous tap takeovers and tasting events from the likes of The Kernel Brewery, Duration Brewing, Cloudwater Brew Co. and more. In addition to these brewery-focused events, they also have showcases focused on different regions and beer styles, too.
