Holborn welcomes a microbrewery nipper to its pubbing
pastures.
Temple Brew House is a hop-heavy underground where basement
boozing is the name of the game and some serious gluttony comes
hand in hand with their menu of smoked, tender and home cooked
dishes.
This subterranean plot is a space of rugged character with
stripped back walls adorning hand drawn diagrams detailing the ins
and outs of that iconic brewery process, as well as lists of their
current beer offerings. The whole place kind of feels like a
vintage classroom, with charming wooden chairs and tables
mish-mashed around the room and board games scattered between
groups of guzzlers. Descend past the shiny steel fermentation tanks
and into this cosy den of drinking and dining to experience the
rustic edge of this brewpub.
Hosting hoards of taps with some of the City's best loved
brewery brands, the biggest independent labels and legendary world
beers from afar, you'll be glugging down the golden good stuff in
no time. There's bottles to be reckoned with too, sporting goods
all the way from Australia - Temple doesn't mess about when it
comes to beer, that's for sure.
Nothing goes down better with a craft beer venture than some
hefty helpings of food and their menu is certainly something to
marvel at. Dig in to all manner of meaty treats here with in-house
smoked foods and fresh produce used throughout. If there's one
thing you can count on, it's a feasting frenzy, whether you want to
tuck into their big plates or hit up their Brew House Trays where a
platter of all the good 'Bits' will materialise in front of you.
