Description
The Herne Tavern is family friendly pub in Dulwich and a sister pub to The Palmerston. The traditional feel along with a bar area, restaurant, conservatory, and beer garden make it a great place to enjoy a pint or a meal. The wooden paneling, leather sofas and real fire places give it a cosy and inviting atmosphere. There is also a converted barn in the beer garden that can be hired out for private events. The pub is very child friendly so weekends are very busy with families. If you're looking for something quieter it's best to go during the week.
Pub food is served everyday, but it is mostly known for the very popular Sunday roast. They hold a very versatile list of events including regular activities for children in the mornings, a pub quiz on Sunday and an annual beer festival. As far as drinks go they have a selection of real ales, wines and beers that you would expect from any good pub. Perfect for any time of the day and any day of the week this pub has a very big local following.
