In the backstreets of Borough, close to London Bridge, The Miller has a 100 capacity venue upstairs, a rehearsal studio in the basement, a ping-pong terrace on the roof, and art by Pure Evil. Street Kitchen are in residence in the kitchen with their brand new hot dog menu. There is also plenty of outside space and a great selection of real ciders and craft ales.
What we say:
There is no denying it, the bars that are presently leading the way are ones that offer more than just booze. The Miller has so much on offer that it is almost disrespectful to call it a pub. You can enjoy live music, film screenings, comedy, cabaret, storytelling, poetry, pool, food, cocktails and, of course - great beer. Lively DJ sets set the tone on the weekends and the spacious garden is likely to be hot property in the summer months. The ping-pong terrace is a particularly inviting extra. Seems like it's time to get Millered.
