With the iconic London Bridge on its doorstep, making it a short walk to visit The Mudlark, which sits on the banks of the River Thames. You can even impress the regulars by explaining that the pub takes its name from mudlarking – the practice of searching through the muddy water of the banks of the River Thames for scraps of coal, iron or any other salvageable material that might have washed up from London’s most iconic river.
