Description
The Royal Oak is a homely pub that's only a short walk from Marylebone station as well as Baker Street. Community is at the core of this boozer and always has been since 1806. Today it provides a modern dining space with dark, wooden and leather furnishings, industrial-style pendant lightings and glossy white tiles. Outside there are benches lined up perfect for alfresco sips and the haunt encourages you to bring your four-legged friend along too.
Food-wise, it offers a contemporary take on pub classics alongside fresh beer, specially selected wines and cocktails. The a la carte menu boasts bar snacks like chorizo Scotch eggs served alongside roasted garlic aioli, and mains of miso baked cod with butternut squash and kombu dashi, or flat iron steak accompanied by chard, chimichurri and triple-cooked chips. The Sunday roasts are things of beauty too, followed by chocolate pecan brownies or apple crumble, and you can expect to find an Aperol spritz or Manhattan to wash it all down too.
