Description
Coach and Horses, located in Mayfair, offers a warm and cozy atmosphere making it very popular in the area. It is said this lovely pub was the first building on the street. It was rebuilt by William Younger & Co in 1933 after having to be pulled down from damages next door. It is also located on a rather historical street; number 17 Bruton Street was the town house of the Earl of Strathmore and here on April 21st 1926, the then Duchess of York gave birth to Princess Elizabeth, now Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
They serve a wide range of beers, wines and spirits, as well as traditional pub food, all freshly prepared. Expect to find all the British favourites, including hand battered cod, bangers & mash and classic British roast served seven days a week. With fantastic location right in the middle of Baker Street, Oxford Circus, Piccadilly Circus and Green Park, it is walking distance from many land marks and shopping streets! Perfect for anyone enjoying a day in the city wanting that traditional pub experience.
