Boasting private hire spaces, including the light and airy upstairs dining room which can cater for up to 100 guests, The Clarence provides a traditionally British environment to relax in the centre of London.
There’s plenty of history in this 18th Century building too, which takes its name from the Duke of Clarence – perhaps better known as King William IV. It sits on the spot where Scottish-born scientist, inventor and engineer Sir Alexander Graham Bell made the first ever successful telephone call, while Dover Street has also been home to the architect responsible for Buckingham Palace, and even the Polish composer Frederic Chopin.
As you soak in the history, you’ll enjoy traditional British pub hospitality, great food and a unique selection of cask ales and spirits, before heading back out into the city again.
