Description
The Earl of Derby can be found in a stunning Victorian building that's been carefully restored to it’s former glory through vintage furnishings and timeless wooden decor - situated moments away from Nunhead and Queens Road Peckham stations.
Their kitchen, Gengelly's, is named after head chefs George Genn and Laurence Pengelly, who are always cooking up a storm in the form of hearty pies filled with chicken and bacon or lentil and ale, alongside other British classics and indulgent pasta dishes. And when Sunday rolls around? It's all about the roasts.
Music is also a big part of what they do. A traditional jukebox can be found in the centre of the pub containing curated CDs made by local artists and some classic pub tunes. As for Friday and Saturday nights, you can expect resident DJs playing until late.
Planning an event? Their upstairs space caters for up to 70 people - regularly hosting comedy nights, live music, birthdays, weddings and more.
