Description
Thought to be the oldest pub in the area, The Sun in Splendour is a great spot for lazy lunches, post-work drinks or catch-ups with friends. And, with its bold yellow exterior and unique curved beams, you certainly won’t miss it.
Step inside and you’ll find a great mix of flamboyant period features and cosy contemporary details. The menu offers plenty of of recognisable British classics, while the bar is well stocked with craft beers, a good selection of wines and artisan spirits.
Make sure you venture to the back of the pub, where you’ll be greeted by a stunning secret courtyard – think whitewashed walls, sheltered tables and benches, and plenty of greenery.
