Description
A Grade II building that's just a stones throw away from Hyde Park, The Mitre is a fine traditional Victorian pub in the heart of Paddington. Dating back to 1850, it is a popular haunt for many locals yet also attracts a number of tourists thanks to its authentic and vintage feel.
Since its inception, it has managed to retain a number of its original Victorian features such as its etched glass, mosaic floors and open fireplaces, adding to the venue's charm.
A casual and relaxed atmosphere, it's ideal for a friendly drink or two, offering an impressive selection of real ales, international beers and an extensive wine list for you to choose from. If you're feeling hungry though, you can always sit down and enjoy one of their homely pub meals from pies, burgers, and a range of seasonal dishes.
A charming venue that's always pleasant to visit, it sits just above the Old Mary's cocktail bar so it's perfect for a few pre-drinks before you head on to bigger things.
