Hidden away from the hoards on Putney High Street, The Coat and Badge provides a calm retreat to enjoy a few pints and some traditional British food. With bookcases lining the walls and the mishmash of patterned chairs and comfy sofas, The Coat and Badge is one of the more characterful and eclectic gastro pubs in London.
The food served is traditional and freshly cooked, focusing on crowd-pleasing pub favourites. If you're into your ale, they have a wide range available and the wine menu is equally carefully sourced and extensive.
One of the major pluses is also the pub's huge, sunny garden; an ideal haven for enjoying lazy summer days with a glass of wine in hand.
