When it comes to drinking dens in Shepherd's Bush, it doesn't get better than The Crown & Sceptre. Decked out with quirky frames, leather booths and potted plants, it's a comfy joint to settle into for lunch and dinner. 

Kick off the evening with a couple of small plates such as cauliflower wings and crispy calamari before checking out the main menu. We recommend the duck salad for something a little more refreshing or the sirloin steak doused in a peppercorn sauce. If you have room for dessert, try out the sticky toffee pudding with ginger ice cream. As for drinks, there's a wide range of beer, wine and cocktails, as well as £45 Veuve Clicquot, every Friday.
