Shoreditch's former sleazy, rustic, shabby London strip club is set to be ascend from the ashes of its sordid past as the newest addition to the Shoreditch pub scene. There will be an array of craft beers- cask to glass London ales, big brassy tanks of lager & crafty bottles, not to mention bloody good wines and harder tipples. The garden cannot be missed either. The garden has its own bar and food truck - filled with chefs who expertly wield their wood-burning oven for all your culinary cravings. Though the stripper pole will be kept as a shrine to The Crown and Shuttle's former days, there will be no stripping on site.
What we say:
The Crown and Shuttle is a Shoreditch pub with quite an interesting past. The new pub, that will bring craft beer in bottle and draught, London ales, lovely wine and spirits, and a food van in the garden; used to be a stripclub. Fear not, you won't have to place orders between the legs of naked strippers as there will be no stripping on site. Instead, there will be a vintage and cosy Shoreditch pub-feel, with a great selection of food and drink on offer to boot.
