I finally got to The White Horse around 7.30pm after waiting around for a friend in Liverpool Street, she picked me up in a taxi, and in no time we were there. We got there expecting it to be a busy 'push your way through the crowd' place, but to my surprise it was quite mellow, which was a pleasantsurprise…

Description
The Hoxton White Horse has now closed. It has been replaced by White Lyan.
The Hoxton White Horse puts a modern twist on the traditional East End pub. Think British craft beer (especially London-centric beers), an unrivalled juke box; stacked with glorious classic sounds of every genre, and mouth-watering Pieminister pies.
It has been through a spectacular refurbishment inside and out, bringing this vibrant space entrenched in history in line with some of London’s finest modern cask pubs. Soak up the sun outside in the Hoxton Market throughout the summer or warm your cockles with mulled cider throughout the winter months.
Step further inside and you'll discover the hidden Bolt Whisk(e)y Bar in the basement. The offering downstairs is subtle and not dissimilar to a stylish dive bar with a killer selection of vintage rums and whiskies. It offers an amazing selection of spirits and sumptuous booths that you can sink into. The Bolt brings classic English style back to its East End stomping ground. The bar is also available to rent for private functions.
