Description
The Toucan is as Irish as a pub in London can be. A plethora of Guinness taps and Celtic dishes, mixed with music and a buzzy atmosphere makes The Toucan a guaranteed great drinking experience (especially if you're a fan of the black stuff!)
A long history, it's main clam to fame is that it's one of the venues Jimi Hendrix performed at regularly at the beginning of his career in the 60's, which is quite not something every venue in London can boast about. Guinness experts, they not only serve it but celebrate it and with the number of retro Guinness posters throughout the interior, you'd think it's also a museum.
A popular haunt in the area, it's a celebrated dive bar that's ideal for catching all the major sporting events, especially if it's Ireland playing rugby! A pub with a rich history that is unapologetic with a rock 'n' roll attitude, it has an authenticity that's hard to match.
