The Star of Kings

Description

London’s King’s Cross has a rich heritage of music and entertainment. Minus the pretensions of the West End, King’s Cross has always been a can’t-fail destination for a good night out and The Star of Kings looks set to continue that legacy, presenting bands and DJs on a packed program and a massive Funktion-One sound system, as well as providing the atmosphere of a good ol’ fashioned pub.

Dishing up tasty food and delicious drinks, you can chow down next to the open fire in the winter or on the beer terrace in the summer. With a comfy ambiance, classic décor and free wi-fi and coffee refills, it is the ideal spot to catch up with friends, grab a few cheeky bevvies after work and listen to some great live music.

Tuesdays are the night to challenge the great minds of Kings Cross in our one of a kind pub quiz!

Bring your mates along and sing your hearts out in the karaoke room which is equipped with a state of the art Lucky Voice sing station with 10000 tunes and two radio mics - everything you need to sing yourself hoarse in private!

If the Karaoke room wasn't enough, the Star of Kings has two bookable function rooms. The Green Room is a room suitable for many occasions. It is perfect for a work meeting or meal, or a birthday party with friends and family. The downstairs basement space is designed for big parties and performances. It is home to twice-weekly shows from g 'N' b comedy. Book these spaces for event you have coming up with colleagues, friends or family.

Menus

  • Cuisines

This venue serves Burgers, South American and Mexican food.

  • A word from the chef:

Breddos was founded by Nud and Chris in 2011 in a makeshift car park taco shack in Hackney, East London. Since then, they’ve gone on to do residencies and pop-ups around the world, written a cook book, had a couple of cook-offs at LA’s Tacolandia festival and found a permanent home for themselves at the Star of Kings. Their food is influenced by the hundreds of roadside taquerias and restaurants they have encountered on their travels throughout America and Mexico, whilst utilising the best local produce from passionate producers.

The Star of Kings - London Pub Review

Hailing from north London, I’ve grown up considering King’s Cross as a bit of a no-go area. If I’m not getting stuck behind helplessly lost tourists I’m being pushed, shoved and trampled on by city workers. But, the recent transformation of the area has kicked up more than just…
