What they say:
The Pride of Tottenham may have shut down, but rising in the institution's ashes is a whole new experience. Meet The Bluecoats Pub, named after the Blue Coats School For Girls (who were the original occupants), a drinking establishment set in an 18th century site hoping to deliver an amazing offering of beer, a place to watch sport, and a venue for locals to hang out in. And with the team of Tom Gibson (Ruby’s in Dalston), Jamie Rule and Louis Hyams (Night Tales and Background Bars), they’re in for a pretty good chance.
What we say:
But what’s the best way to attract locals and get people round to watch sport? Beer, of course, and The Bluecoats have it in abundance. They’ve got over 20 draught pumps on, with breweries like Beavertown, Redemption, Pressure Drop and way more. If you’re feeling peckish – and you better feel peckish if you’re going to eat here – their food menu is created by Lucky Chip. So expect huge plates of mouth-watering burgers topped with bacon, all kinds of cheeses, and loads more.
