What they say:
Enterprise Inns have joined forces with publicans Hugh O’Boyle and Caroline Jones to give The Dog and Duck in Walthamstow a complete make over. The traditional boozer has been stripped and refurbished with an open kitchen, a cinema room screening films and match days, and a large bar that serves cocktails and local craft beer. The sizeable outdoor area has been spruced up with cabanas, food trucks and seasonal market stalls.
What we say:
Enterprise Inns has enlisted the help of Walthamstow big wigs Hugh O’Boyle and Caroline Jones to create a partnership called Dirty Liquor. The couple already manage several pubs in North London though this will be their first venture as part of Dirty Liquor. The Dog and Duck has had the makeover treatment and is updated with a younger feel; the Sourdough Saloon serves pizzas from a wood-fired over, the outside area regularly hosts different stalls and there are movie nights.
