The Prince of Wales

Description
As far as traditional London pubs go The Prince of Wales in Wimbledon is a perfect example. With its great selection of cask ales and classic pub lunches such as hand-battered cod & chips it has been a home from home for commuters and passers-by for years.
It was even a refuge for the notorious highwayman Dick Turpin in the 17th century, historical that it is, and is widely regarded as one of Wimbledon's oldest pubs. Thankfully The Prince of Wales doesn't attract the likes of old Dick nowadays, in fact you can expect a warm and friendly atmosphere with its rich dark-wood furnishings and low ceiling beams that have ensured it has kept its character through the times.
It's proximity to Wimbledon train station makes it the ideal place to stop and enjoy a glass of wine if you're on your way out or back in. The Prince of Wales is also boasting large function rooms that you can hire for parties, corporate events or meetings which they will also cater for.
