Description
Named after the family farm, Nutbourne opened in Battersea in September 2016 and is the third restaurant for the Gladwin brothers. The restaurateurs - who already own The Shed in Notting Hill and Rabbit in Chelsea - wanted to create a morning through to evening venue.
The venue is meat-heavy and also healthy. Breakfast includes dishes such as a hearty cooked breakfast using all-English produce, as well as a Suffolk quinoa, chia porridge and palm syrup. A lot of the meat comes from the family farm and there are several wines from their vineyard in West Sussex.
Nutbourne has a large outdoor seating area and inside there is the option of sitting by the open grill at the 'Butchers Table' The decor is inspired by Cornwall's Lost Gardens of Heligan, so think lots of greenery and a botanical theme throughout.
