Part of a new health and lifestyle store coming to Nine Elms later this year, The Linnaean Cafe is offering a unique take on plant-based dining. With a menu overseen by Stem + Glory head chef Fran Winberg, diners to the 32-cover restaurant will be treated to a wealth of vegan and vegetarian options, from cakes, coffees and organic wines, to sweet potato toast and even a vegan cheeseboard.
However, in a novel take on the classic plant-based eatery, they'll be offering options for flexitarians, so the still-a-little-carnivorous will be able to add high-quality and ethically-sourced meat and fish to their dishes come dinner time.
While much of the information is still being kept under wraps, there's no doubt that this Battersea opening is set to usher in a new kind of eating that prioritises health, well-being and sustainability above all. Fronting ethical and environmental considerations, alongside beautiful plates of food, we're certainly excited to see what they've got in store.
