Description
The Frog is the first in a string of new restaurants to be opened by the award-winning chef Adam Handling. Known for his eatery at the St. Ermin’s hotel, which won a casual three AA Rosettes in its first year, Handling is launching this 60-cover restaurant which will focus on fresh produce with a “lightly theatrical touch”.
Opening for lunch and dinner on weekdays and brunch at the weekends, The Frog will tap into the best produce from nearby Spitalfields and Smithfield Markets. A five-course tasting option (£40) will change on a daily basis, while smaller a la carte options will come in at around £10. Portobello Gin have signed up to create a special bespoke gin, Brewdog will sort the beers, there’s to be homemade Kombucha tea and a clutch of original cocktails on offer in the separate bar area. The Frog will also feature a private dining room suitable for up to 15.
The Frog will feature a decor designed by Offbeat Interiors and will provide a place for creatives to express themselves, with art students, DJs, wine-makers and guest chefs all invited to make their mark.
