What they say:
Butchies first found success in Broadway Market with their brand of free-range, slow-reared chicken sandwiches. Now, they have a permanent home in the buzzing Camden Stables Market. The new site has a larger menu with four specials which include The Clancy Wiggum, a delicious mound of streaky bacon, fried chicken, guacamole and smoked chilli mayo. There is also be specials such as buttermilk chicken strips and hot wings.
What we say:
Fried chicken is universally adored and available on pretty much any London street, but there's something about Butchies' sandwiches that blow your bog standard drumsticks out the window. The company use free range chickens and keep their dishes simple, which makes them perfect for an easy lunchtime option. So popular that they will now be open every day in Camden, which is good because one day a week was not enough for us. What with the trend moving towards ethically sourced and simple food, we think Butchies is only going to continue to grow in popularity.
