The Bayou

Description
The Bayou on Camden's Inverness Street, is London's first all day kitchen and bar, dedicated to the Creole region of Southern United States. The Creole people were originally settlers from Portuguese, French and Spanish regions of Europe, who settled in the Southern United States, particularly Louisiana, and developed their own distinctive cuisine and lifestyle. The Bayou brings this taste of Southern America to London.
Serving Southern-American influenced dishes The Bayou brings Camden something a little bit different. From meat options like Cajun Chicken and Beef, to more unusual dishes like Jambalaya (a distant cousin of Spanish Paella) and Gumbo (a soup-like dish made from meat or shellfish), The Bayou's food choices are not your usual bar-restaurant selection. As well as the food The Bayou has a great range of cocktails, with many also taking influence from the Southern regions of America. Not content with food and drink though, The Bayou brings the whole Southern experience to Camden, with a great themed bar and Creole inspired music to boot. The Bayou is a great taste of the deep south!
